On-site Design & Fabrication
At Manchester Awnings, we run an in-house operation that oversees each project from design to installation.
Our Design Team
Our designers work with residential and commercial customers. We assist you in choosing awnings and canopies that will enhance your home or business with the look you prefer.
We can design your sunshade system in materials, colors, and styles from traditional to trend-setting. You can choose fabric, vinyl, or aluminum designs. Commercial customers may also select standing seam or architectural metal designs to enhance their entryways and outdoor service areas. Our CAD renderings allow you to “see” the results before you make your final decisions.
Our Fabrication Team
Our on-site fabrication team creates your awnings and canopies to your design specifications. We control the process and never use subcontractors. That’s how we ensure that our awnings meet our high standards for quality and workmanship.
Our Graphics Team
The company’s on-site graphics team offers a variety of enhancement options. We use our creative expertise to brand your commercial awnings and canopies with bold logos, letters, and images. Our team produces vinyl and painted letters and designs, using classic techniques and advanced technologies.
Our Installation Team
We install your canopies and awnings professionally, ensuring that they meet Connecticut’s residential and commercial building codes. When appropriate, we supply engineering and crane services.

Manchester Awnings is a disabled veteran-owned business. Owner, Jeff Nodden, served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps and he’s a Service-Disabled Veteran of the First Gulf War. He studied Business Management at the University of Connecticut.
Jeff Nodden acquired Manchester Awnings in 2004. He is excited about educating customers about their awning and canopy choices. He wants you to understand that some awning companies offer only one product because that’s all they have. His most effective marketing pitch is his commitment to offering a wide variety of quality awning and canopy design choices.
